The Berkshire Bank / Qualprint 2024 Calendar Contest

Welcome to the annual Berkshire Bank / Qualprint Calendar Contest!

We invite all photographers, professional and amateur, to show us their creativity. We will be looking for photos that have artistic appeal and interesting compositional structure.

Call for Entries have begun for the 2024 Calendar and all photos should represent the beautiful areas of the Berkshires, Massachusetts.

IMPORTANT: The form below has required fields that must be filled out and the terms and conditions must be agreed to before the form will be submitted. Please  label your images clearly, adhere to the size/resolution requirements, and do not use filters or watermarks on your images.

Upload your top three photos. If you need more entry options you may submit the form up to three times with additional photos, not to exceed nine total image submissions.

You can upload your images individually, or as a compressed .ZIP file. Due to the size constraint of 25MB, the form allows for your best three images to be uploaded. If you have more than three photos that you would like to submit, you can utilize up to three separate entry forms if needed.  If you have any questions or concerns about the online application process, please contact Tim at qualprintcalendar@sampco.com

Photo submissions must be received by August 31, 2023 to be eligible for the contest.

Photos of friends and family are fantastic – however due to the need to obtain waivers, these types of photos are not really conducive to this calendar contest. Please be aware that photos used in this contest may be used to promote contest events and for future contest promotion.

All photos must be taken by the person submitting the entry form, be wholly original, and have not been copied in whole or in part, from any other work, and that no other individual has any ownership claim over the image. If the artist is below the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must submit the form. Anyone submitting photos agrees to allow their photo and name to be published if selected as one of the winners of the contest.

Winning photos will demonstrate a strong focus on creativity, uniqueness and quality. A panel of judges at Qualprint and Berkshire Bank will choose the winning photos based on appeal, content and skill. Judging of all photography submissions will be ‘blind’. The name of the photographer will not be disclosed to the judging panel.

Prize winners will be chosen and awarded as follows; 1st Place – $250.00, 2nd Place – $200.00, and 3rd Place – $150.00. The nine Runner Up submissions will receive $50 each. All twelve winners will have their winning images featured in the Berkshire Bank /  Qualprint 2023 calendar. Honorable mention images will also be chosen and recognized in the calendar. All entrants will receive a complimentary calendar.

*By participating in the photo contest, you hereby grant Qualprint all rights to your image(s), including the right to edit, modify and use in any manner, in any Qualprint publications, print or electronic, and in any other media for advertising and promotional purposes with regard to the calendar contest. Qualprint reserves the right to print and distribute the images submitted for the sole purpose of contest promotion either in print or digital distribution.
